Our home is nestled within the most spectacular part of Alberta’s foothills, the breathtaking Porcupine Hills. Straight West of Claresholm on HWY 520 and off of the #2 Highway, you will find our little piece of heaven in the heart of horse country. Claresholm is located 120km South of Calgary, Alberta.

Historically known as the "Circle L Ranch" then "Lucasia Guest Ranch" and now "Swirl Brand". We are proud that our Ranch is a Provincial Historic Resource. 

Here at Swirl Brand our mission is to “raise quality prospects that possess correct conformation, willing dispositions and Industry leading pedigree”.  We feel this combination is necessary to be competitive in the barrel arena, and in the roping pen. The result is also highly saleable horses that can easily be competitive in team penning, working cow horse, mounted shooting, even the cutting pen.
